The Focus Group formed in December of 2011 with the intention of playing one gig for the Twinsburg Vocal Music Boosters. After a highly positive reception at that show in January 2012, we gathered around a keg of home brew, decided that we had created something unique and committed to forge on as The Focus Group.
The Focus Group plays a blend of all kinds of country including hits from Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Jason Aldean and Blake Shelton along with classic rock tunes from Elvis to Tom Jones; Aerosmith to Joe Walsh and one-hit wonders from artists like King Harvest, Georgia Satellites, The Ides of March and the Atlanta Rhythm Section. If you can't get up and dance to the music of The Focus Group, well you just can't dance.
The Focus Group brings a high energy, fun party to any occasion. The band has played events such as the 2014 Cuyahoga County Fair, the Twins Days Festival, the 2015, 2016 & 2018 Taste of Twinsburg and popular venues including the Hard Rock Rocksino in Northfield and the Cleveland Metroparks E 55th Street Marina. The Focus Group was also featured on Fox 8's Music in the Morning. You can find us playing not only in our hometown of Twinsburg several times a year, but at venues all across Northeast Ohio as well as donating our time to charitable causes.
